Lachlan is a Research Manager at the e61 Institute, where he leads research at the intersection of economics, data and public policy. Lachlan leads e61’s competition analysis, as well as work investigating drivers of productivity and wages in Australia. Lachlan previously worked at the Australian Treasury and Financial Conduct Authority in the UK, where his work covered retail and wholesale market competition, trade, labour markets and social policy. Lachlan has also appeared on the ABS, SBS and radio as a trusted economic commentator.
